wish I was lost in paris.....

Posts are few and far between these days.......I really need to pick up the ball again! Desole....

I stumbled across these images of an apartment in Paris called "I'm Lost In Paris". It's a private house in the French capital designed by radical architect R&Sie(n). Hidden in a courtyard in an undisclosed location, the house is swathed in ferns, hiding it like a birdwatcher's lookout. Amid the greenery are bulbous glass vessels, the project's strange ecological edge - a bacteria farm.

LOVE it.

smiths

This decadent wee number is down near Britomart on Auckland's waterfront - I was taken here by Michelle for my birthday. We had 'high tea' and gossiped for 3 hours, it was pure bliss!!! Thanks Michelley x x x

fishing up a storm

About 6 weeks ago Sara's parents took us out on a 'fishing extravaganza' around Waiheke.....unfortunatly all we managed to catch was a pitiful amount of seaweed - but we had a lot of fun in the process......

self explanatory

Tim wore this great tee to my house the other night, I couldn't resist.......
it's a beautiful thing

Scaffolding: It all began 2 years ago when Emmy and I went travelling throughout Asia. I started taking photos of all the bamboo scaffolding for my Uncle......but I got so in to it, obsessing over the differing structures and systems in varied countries that I have subsequently been taking photos of scaffolding ever since!
I am now re-branding Uncle Gav's company 'Orange Scaffolding' to put this obsession to good use! Although, now I have a new fascination with the details within the mess that is scaffolding - bolts and screws......yes, I know I'm strange.
