There's so much to do in London if you can just find it.....and under the London Bridge we did! My friend Mark took me to a single dark door at the 'above' tube station, and told me to brace myself.......what we found inside was a local spectacular of wonderful art, music and production - amazing!

Over the past few weeks I've been doing some random design jobs, enabling me to discover some new (and re-discover some old) loves. I re-established my desire for the colour mint, and am subsuquently drawn to anything parading this colour........

These images were taken over the past few weeks, from Newcastle to London - admist a 'typical' English Summer......
birthday boy

Jimmy turned 5.
I landed in the middle of the party (circus) celebrations and was expected to pick up the pieces amid some terrible parenting......needless to say - and despite this child being nothing but divine, I won't be babysitting there again.......!

"I have known the nakedness of my dreams"
- Cy Twombly

Cy Twombly. Art is so subjective. I read that a favourite artist of mine was exhibiting at the Tate Modern, and subject to me, I got a little excited!! I saw a few of his paintings last year and just fell in love - sometimes it happens, you know?! Well, it happened again....and if I ever own a Twombly original, I will be a slave to whoever the purchaser and giver is!
As well as delighting in the feast that is Cy, I discovered a few treats in the bookstore below:

Rubbish Mag. A loud mouthed, delictable taste of all things RUBBISH and amazing. A font lovers fanfare. The combination will blow your socks off......

The Believer Magazine - almost died and went to Heaven when I found this wee puppy.....it has some of the best illustrations this side of the amazon.....check out their website for some delicious back issue cover delights. Plus they sell tattoos.
