How's this for innovation!? The Austrian company MeMux has developed what they describe as "a concrete curtain that combines the utilitarian and the creative, reinventing perceptions of concrete through new and innovative applications."

I think the end result is surprising, stunning and refined....if only it were available in NZ!!

the little cake kitchen

I instantly fell in love with this place.....a gorgeous, colourful cafe with AMAZING Chicken and Leek pies and Supreme coffee......with so many cafes in Auckland, its a treat to find something a little different and special.

the LOUD small voice

Sheperd Fairey's now well known 'propoganda' style images and posters of Barack Obama stem from a passionate opinion on the direction of the United States government and who should be their new President. I personally think that they are genius and beautiful at the same time. Could you imagine posters like this with Helen's face staring back at you.....frightening!
